Simon Stricker is probably the most successful Swiss skater right now – and one of the few who actually make a living as a pro.

Just watch one of his video parts and it all makes sense. He’s as chill on a handrail as most people are walking down stairs. Flip-in, flip-out? Feels like he’s got a button for that. Originally from Bülach, Simon now lives in Zurich, but when Swiss weather gets sketchy, he’s off chasing the sun somewhere warm. And when he’s back? Boom – new banger edit incoming.

In 2016, the first skatepark Simon helped design opened in Bachenbülach, near Zurich. He also played a major role in shaping the design of the Skillspark in Winterthur.

In 2017, Simon launched his own skate school – the “Stricker Skateboard Academy” – where he passes on his experience to skaters of all ages.

Bottom line: a true skater at heart who gives back to the scene big time.

2018 was Simon’s biggest year so far. He won two international contests back-to-back – Simple Session in Tallinn (Estonia) and the Luxembourg Cup. He left all the other pros in the dust and took the top spot on both podiums.
